World Pantry is a small, rapidly growing San Francisco based
e-commerce company specializing in gourmet, natural and organic foods.  Founded in 1998, the business has averaged over + 50% growth per year.  We partner with companies to handle their direct to consumer e-commerce businesses where we build and manage their official ecommerce webstores.

To date, we have established strong partnerships with over 50 leading food companies including: Nature's Path, Mauna Loa, Numi Tea, Torani, Oregon Chai, Good Earth, and many others.

Position Overview:

We are seeking talented individuals to join us as Operations Associate.

Hours: For the right person we can offer a range of hours (25-40 hours per week). We have shifts available for Monday-Friday and weekends. Candidates with the flexibility to work weekday evenings on busy days as well as weekends is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Operations Associates take ownership for all aspects of shipping products to consumers including:

  • processing orders
  • packing orders for shipment
  • shipping packages
  • stocking and organizing warehouse shelves

Qualifications:

  • a strong desire to continually learn and improve
  • be highly organized and neat
  • have a detail orientation
  • have the ability to work well in a small company setting
  • be team players and have a knack for helping the team succeed
  • be flexible and willing to pitch in wherever needed
  • possess a customer focused orientation
  • a strong work ethic
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • previous experience in a gourmet food retailing or catalog business is a plus

Compensation:  $10.00/hour or DOE. Also eligible for quarterly bonus plan which could range from 0% to 20% of pay. All employees receive a 30% to 40% employee discount.
