Position Overview

NAISMA  announces a part-time position for an experienced Membership, Graphic Design, and Program Coordinator to manage membership; assist with website updates and event registration, graphic design editing and new design, digital asset management, and program assistance as needed.

The successful applicant will work with our Program Managers to coordinate membership renewals, communications with program participants and members, basic graphic design and website updates, and facilitate committee work as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and will have experience coordinating multiple programs and communications tools while producing results in a timely manner.

This is a 1-year, non-salaried contractor opportunity. Time commitment will range from 15-25 hours per week. This position will be available for renewal and potentially grow to full-time depending on the successful candidate’s performance and the organization’s fundraising efforts.

Note: Preference is for an individual to work in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin office; however, this position can be executed via telecommuting if the successful candidate has demonstrated capacity to do so.

Responsibilities

  • Administer customer relationship management (CRM) and content management system (CMS) through 1 or more databases, communications, website and marketing software platforms
  • Answer inquiries from members and program participants
  • Manage PlayCleanGo product orders
  • Manage and update graphic design materials
  • Work with Program Manager to update or edit communications including newsletters, press releases, website, and social media
  • Assist with Annual Conference planning and on-site coordination
  • Assist Committees as needed with note taking and scheduling meetings
  • Invoice and track payments
  • Travel to annual meeting and additional travel possible

Requirements

  • Experience with CRM and CSM
  • Coordination of invasive species programs or related conservation programs a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, AdobePro; Google software, Mailchimp or related communications / marketing platforms, and some website platform experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Qualifications:

  • BA in business or related field or experience coordinating non-profit or for-profit programs and graphic design
  • Experience with CRM, CMS, database management, newsletter and /or other communications / marketing software
  • Experience with invasive species prevention, management and outreach or related field is a plus

Compensation: Estimated contract will be in the range of $18,000 - $24,000 depending on the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.
