‘New York Ambassador’

Raw Revolution was launched in Alice Benedetto's home kitchen in 2004. A registered nurse and natural food chef, Alice was looking for something that she could give to her kids - a healthy snack that also tasted good.

Alice started slowly, feeding her delicious, natural snacks to friends and family, and then started selling small batches through local stores near her suburban home. When the first bars sold out within days, Alice knew that she was on to something.

Ten years later millions of Raw Revolution bars are produced a year. The bars are now sold through major retailers both in the United States and overseas. Each one is still made at Alice and Dave's family owned factory just outside of New York City.

A lot has changed in the last decade, but some things are the same as they have always been. The ingredients are fresh. The taste is revolutionary. And the story is just beginning.  

Position Overview: 

Raw Revolution, a Westchester County, NY based company, has an immediate opening for a New York City Brand Ambassador (NY Native a must).

This sales position's primary responsibilities will be maintaining Raw Revolution's shelf presence throughout New York City. Raw Revolution products can be found in key retailers throughout New York City like Whole Foods Market, Fairway, Westerly's and Stop & Shop as well as other stores throughout Manhattan and the boroughs.

Raw Revolution's goal is to change how the world thinks when it comes to real, whole food. Raw Revolution is committed to quality, sustainability and sheer deliciousness.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain an excellent working relationship with key retail personnel including, Grocery Managers, and Retail Merchandisers with existing and new customers.
• Visit key retailers, like Whole Foods Market, Fairway, Westerly, Stop & Shop and other stores based on daily schedule provided by the Director of Sales.
• Ensure that all authorized Raw Revolution products are properly locally tagged on shelf and ample inventory is available on the shelf and in the warehouse.
• When inventory is low or product is out of stock, work with key retail personnel to place replenishment orders through distributors.
• Person will be responsible for signing in with all retailers and securing access to back-rooms to help pull any Raw Revolution inventory to the shelf.
• Report, on a weekly basis, results from retail visits. Reports will include but not limited to, date and time of retail visit, correct shelf tags for all authorized Raw Revolution products, inventory count pre and post retail visit and any key follow-ups for next visit.
• Will be working at retail stores weekly (Monday - Friday).

Qualifications:

Required Skills 

• Individual MUST be a real "go-getter" with a "positive" attitude.
• Minimum 1 - 3 years sales experience. 
• Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Dependable, extroverted, diplomatic person, able to problem solve successfully with wide variety of people and issues.
• Exception work ethics.
• Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills.
• Excellent written, oral, communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage time.
• Good presentation skills.
• Merchandising skills.
