Description
Background:
Anteon Corporation, a leading e-business solutions, environmental, and
engineering services provider, supporting the federal government, commercial, and
international sectors for 25 years, is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time
position at our Camp Pendleton/Oceanside, California worksite.
Duties:
The position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and developing a Biological
Assessment (BA), pursuant to section 7 of the ESA. Duties include: data
collection, assimilation, and report preparation. Experience writing and editing
previous BA's is mandatory, as well as a strong working knowledge of ESA
requirements.
Qualifications:
The position requires a BS in natural resource (e.g., biology, zoology, wildlife
management, botany, etc.) or a related environmental science background, and a
minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental management and/or
compliance programs. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word,
PowerPoint and Excel (2000). Attention to detail is essential. Must be able to work
effectively as a team member. Strong written and verbal communication skills are
also required. Working knowledge of GIS and GPS is helpful.
