Description
SCA, the nation's leading conservation service organization for young people, seeks a Program Manager to oversee all operational and administrative duties for our Native Plant Corps program in the Seattle, WA office.
The Native Plant Corps engages young adults in 3-6 month service learning projects that support resource managers in the restoration of native plant communities. Projects sites are located across the United States and run throughout the year. The Program Manager will supervise field staff for each of these sites and ensure that both agency and volunteer outcomes meet or exceed expectations and are achieved in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications: NPC Flower
* Bachelor's degree in invasive plant management, botany, natural resource management, environmental science or related field
* 2 - 4 years of progressively responsible experience in skills related to the position such as project management, field leadership, training, program outcomes and reporting
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
* Demonstrated success with leadership, supervision, collaboration and innovation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong computer/technology skills, particularly using MSOffice and internet tools
* Willingness to travel on a regular basis
* Current Wilderness First Aid and CPR certification required
* Valid driver's license and MVR that meets SCA standards
* Ability to meet SCA's criminal background check standards
