Background:
Recycline seeks a National Sales Manager to manage and increase sales of the companys growing line of environment-friendly consumer products. Primary channels of trade include natural product retail, supermarket, chain drug, and mass market. Additional channels include professional, government, promotional, and direct-to-consumer. Opportunity for a significant role in overall business development and company management depending on applicants interests and qualifications. Position reports to and coordinates with company President and Strategic Sales Advisor. Base pay commensurate with experience and within Recyclines pay structure. As a small and fast-growing company, Recycline seeks to enhance its managers pay with commission and performance-based bonus and incentive programs.
Duties:
- Manage and increase sales to current customers through effective account management, broker management, and sales and promotional program execution.
- Continue Recyclines emphasis on expansion into the mainstream supermarket, chain drug and mass market channels by working with company President, Strategic Sales Advisor and brokers to ensure success at existing accounts and to achieve new placement in target accounts.
- Manage Recyclines inside sales associate and national network of seven regional brokerage companies and fifty+ sales reps. Comprehensive management of broker network including strategic planning, goals development and review, market visits, and sales representative support.
- Coordinate with company President and other department managers to set, pursue, and review personal, department, and company goals and priorities.
- Work with executive management team to develop Recyclines strategic plan including goals, business development initiatives, and new products.
Qualifications:
- Related sales or small business development experience.
- Demonstrated account management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, pursue and close new business.
- Ability to develop and manage budgets and assess deal profitability.
- Experience with and/or understanding of the retail/consumer product marketplace.
- Interest and knowledge of environmental issues a plus.
