Job Summary

This position is responsible for generating new profit opportunities by developing, evaluating, and implementing strategic and tactical plans to expand business initiatives through acquisitions, business partnerships, and other innovative synergies focused on the waste industry and selected other regional accounts.

Responsibilities include developing business plans, completing feasibility studies, performing market analysis, and leading functional teams to achieve desired results.  The incumbent must work very closely with internal and external stakeholders and develop relationships with high level executives to solve problems and create value. A thorough working knowledge of acquisition methodologies is essential.

Responsibility

  • Identify and develop target opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers necessary to achieve business objectives.
  • Negotiating contracts to ensure optimum costs parameters and reliability of services provided.
  • Maintaining coordination with integral internal and external functions.
  • Ensure quality systems are in place and comply with customer specifications.
  • Managing the preparation of reports and statistics reflecting operating and financial results.
  • Identify key markets.
  • Preparing and managing RFP's and budgets.

Education & Work Experience

Bachelors degree, with 6-10 plus years experience in a sales, sales service and marketing environments, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience with acquisitions and developing new business opportunities.
