The Patagonia Sur Nature Reserve is a network of stunning, “best of the best” properties in Chilean Patagonia. This outstanding collection will encompass more than 100,000 acres of extraordinary highlights that are unique in the world: pristine coastal areas, scenic river valleys, spectacular lake frontages, soaring glacier-covered volcanoes, majestic fjords, verdant forests, and unspoiled wildlife habitats.
The Reserve’s infrastructure, amenities and services are available exclusively to club members and their guests. Membership offers an ideal opportunity for those who love the wild outdoors and who welcome the chance to unplug, take a step back, and reconnect with nature, self, family, and friends in a spectacular setting. Family memberships will be limited to 100 international families who seek to experience a treasure trove of nature-based family-and-friend gatherings and outdoor adventures in this extraordinary land. Corporate memberships will be limited to a dozen corporations with a demonstrated commitment to environmental stewardship.
Position Overview:
The membership sales and experience executive is responsible for two core functions. First, s/he is responsible for selling Patagonia Sur family and corporate memberships. Second, s/he is responsible for developing, implementing and managing a creative and comprehensive membership program.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to promote and market the Club and its membership sales.
- Sell memberships to qualified individuals, families, and corporations.
- Develop and coordinate the production of marketing materials for the Club, including membership brochures, newsletters, website and digital marketing tools.
- Work closely with the Expedition Team to ensure a world-class experience.
- Maintain all fiduciary responsibilities for the membership program.
- Research competitors and compile data to keep Patagonia Sur competitive in this arena.
- Manage membership services office, including reservations and ongoing communication with members regarding billing, facilities updates and Club happenings.
- Liaise with members both pre and post-trip as necessary to answer questions, collect feedback, etc.
- Advise and communicate with the firm’s principals regarding all aspects of the Club.
Qualifications:
B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent and 4-6 years experience in sales or business development. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, creative, professional and personable, with exceptional abilities in project management, written and oral communication, fiscal responsibility, outreach, and marketing, and is comfortable working both independently and as a team member. Individuals with strong sales experience – particularly in the hospitality and/or service industries – are preferred. Strong computer skills, especially MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
Compensation: $100,000+($60,000 base with 50%+ bonus potential)
