Marketing Manager

Optiwind is a 4 year-old wind energy start-up on the move. Started in 2007, we have developed a brand new wind turbine technology perfect for schools, factories, retailers and others who are looking to generate and use their own renewable energy. Less expensive than the grid without any government subsidy and already achieving significant customer interest, Optiwind is poised to become a major global player in this multi-billion dollar market.

Position Overview:

We are currently completing our development stage and will soon be launching our products into this rapidly growing market. We're looking for the right Marketing Manager to help lead this transition. This position initially reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development of new corporate web site
• Develop full range of sales collateral materials
• Develop and execute comprehensive PR campaign
• Manage all trade show and technical conference participation
• Hire and lead various marketing agencies charged with supporting our development

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience developing high quality marketing materials including web sites, sales collateral, press releases and trade show booths
• Proven ability to develop integrated marketing communications plans
• Significant experience working closely with Sales organizations and customers
• Excellent written, verbal and graphic communication skills
• Experience and aptitude in graphic design (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to hire and effectively manage outside creative agencies
• Ability to effectively manage and track budgets
