Marketing Intern

Seeking a Marketing Intern to work with an up and coming Green Marketing Firm, Green Rising Marketing.

Position Overview:

We will be working closely on a few accounts. You will be my arms and legs helping to create press lists, research the target demographic, craft copy for website/press releases, and generally brainstorm and add to the conversation on strategic planning for each client.

I want someone with good ideas. . .there will be plenty of intern grunt work, but unlike other internships, you'll have many opportunities to dig in and get your hands dirty if you want. . .or at least be an observer to the strategic process, particularly because of the small nature of this agency.

Qualifications:

As a young company you will be working directly with the President and directly with clients, so if you:

• LOVE the ENVIRONMENT (AN ABSOLUTE MUST!!!!)
• Love lists
• Love the idea of seeing the over-arching picture of a project and guiding it's outcome
• Can't rest until things are organized
• Live to make your daily interactions with strangers, friends, and family alike more pleasant
• See how marketing fits in to all of our daily interactions and that excites you
• Take notes on great marketing during school, your day, and in the world around you
• Are a real go-getter
• Are a Very creative, self-starter who gets shit done
• Like clear direction without a lot of fluff
• Are articulate
• Don't need a lot of supervision and prefer to work self-regulated (but can take orders easily, without a lot of repetition). . ..

Then you're the intern we want!

If you:

• Get nervous when given vague orders
• Are always worried you're going to step on someone's toes or do something wrong
• Feel like clutter and messes spawn creativity
• Don't like spreadsheets because they're too rigid. . .it's all in your head
• Want a formal internship that sends you home with crafted take-away points
• Get your feelings hurt easily with direct and to the point orders
• Are just trying to add something to your resume because it's looking a little empty. . .

Compensation: Unpaid - College credit can be given.
