Clivus Multrum, Inc. designs, manufactures, and sells composting toilets and greywater irrigation systems, with the aim of conserving water and keeping the nutrients in human waste from becoming a source of pollution.
For more than 30 years, Clivus Multrum has led the way in providing environmentally sound waste treatment solutions to customers in North America and beyond. Today, these systems are used in green buildings, parks, recreation facilities, nature centers, and homes around the world.
Position Overview:
Clivus Multrum is looking for a full-time Marketing Coordinator to support sales staff. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for working with sales staff and vendors to coordinate marketing activities (e.g. advertising, newsletters, and tradeshows), to create new marketing collateral, and to track all marketing-related expenses. The Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for transferring incoming sales lead information into the company's Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database and for researching and evaluating new marketing opportunities.
Depending on the individual's interests, strengths, and experience, responsibilities may also include any or all of the following:
- Writing copy for ads and marketing literature
- Writing articles for trade publications
- Designing new marketing materials (e.g. videos and Power Point presentations)
- Creating marketing plans
- Administering the CRM database
The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Sales Director.
Requirements:
The successful applicant will be a self-starter with an undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Environmental Studies. This person should be well organized, flexible, creative, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a small office environment. The successful applicant should also possess excellent written and oral communication skills and a working knowledge of all MS Office applications. A proven interest in environmental issues is highly desirable. Prior marketing and/or project management experience is a plus.
