Marketing and PR Intern

Vaha Sustainable Energy is a renewable energy company that specializes in solar power installations, energy efficiency consulting and LEED certification for commercial and industrial clients in Southern California.   

Internship Overview 

We are currently looking for a market research and PR intern who will assist us with our lead generation as well as PR efforts. 

Responsibilities 

The tasks include: 

• Market Data compilation by sorting through various industry listings.
• Creating and executing email address capture campaign.
• Assisting with the marketing and sales strategy.
• Assisting with writing and issuing press releases as well as media outreach for coverage, which includes print, radio and TV. 

Qualifications 

• Graduated or senior student at a marketing or communications program from a reputable college.
• Have some work experience in market research, marketing plans, media outreach through prior internships and/or jobs.
• Strong knowledge of market research and data analysis.
• Excellent communications skills (oral and written).
• Basic understanding of solar power, energy efficiency and green buildings.
