Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experience Market Development Lead for our Residential Retrofit program. Retrofit is an exciting state-of-art initiative for energy savings techniques in existing homes. The Market Development Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing program strategies that maximize societal energy savings from residential energy retrofits.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the retrofit concept, including developing all needed sales and delivery materials and systems, as well as future products based on the concept.
- Coordinate the business development effort to sell Retrofit products in the utility / energy efficiency program market and the builder/building products market.
- Create and implement the marketing and sales plans for Retrofit products.
- Deliver Retrofit training and presentations as needed.
- Coordinate with sector leaders to develop and implement marketing/sales strategies, and create/deliver materials and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential energy efficiency. Residential Retrofit a plus
- Familiarity with any of the following is preferred: residential design and construction, utility and Energy Star residential efficiency programs, and Home Performance with ENERGY STAR.
- Excellent communication, strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong initiative and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
