The Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing participation in fishing, boating and aquatic stewardship. We seek a high-energy, team player to fill the newly created Manager of Industry Outreach position based at our Alexandria, VAheadquarters. This position works as part of a team of 3 outreach managers, all reporting to RBFF's Director of Stakeholder Outreach.
The chosen candidate will manage partnerships, programs, and outreach/communications activities designed to achieve maximum buy-in and participation from the fishing and boating industries. Through these activities, RBFF seeks to enable industry stakeholders to improve their own efforts to recruit and retain anglers and boaters using Best Practices-guided marketing and education strategies.
RBFF seeks a candidate who is skilled at developing and managing relationships. Previous experience in a sales/marketing function, as a partnership/program manager, or in a communications position is desired. Candidates with experience in an outdoor recreation industry are highly preferred.
