Position Overview:
The primary focus of this position is LEED certification management, review and research. The successful candidate shall demonstrate the ability to make themselves an expert in the LEED green building rating systems, and will be able to work well under guided supervision with diverse groups and interests. Project work entails execution of directed research and analytical activities, project coordination and technical support. This support position offers learning potential to professionals newly entering the field. Travel is not anticipated.
Responsibilities:
As LEED Certification Manager you will:
- Provide LEED documentation management, review and support
- Support project teams with basic research, shelf data collection and information organization
- Provide technical and analytical support to project teams as needed
Qualifications:
- A degree in sustainable building, architecture, engineering, or allied field
- 2 to 3 years professional experience with demonstrated skill progression
- LEED Accredited Professional or LEED project experience required
- Strong writing skills and technical presentation ability
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of graphic and layout software (Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, InDesign etc.)
- A sense of humor and a knack for innovation, problem solving and negotiating positive results
