Description
The School of the Environment is developing new initiatives in
interdisciplinary environmental social science research. Those appointed
will play a leading role in the development of new MA programmes and will
demonstrate the ability to develop their own research programme of
international standing.
Duties:
LECTURER IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT Job ref 033-052-002-009
You will have research interests in Environment and Development
interactions,in particular the links between poverty, sustainable livelihoods and
environmental sustainability. Current research areas in the School include:
agricultural sustainability, food security assessments; rangeland
degradation and community-based natural resource management.
Your role will include
contributing to the School's teaching programme, notably in the
establishment of Masters level modules on Sustainable Development Theories and Practice.
