Responsibilities:

Consult Companies on how to manage their climate change using various means including an IT solution. Responsibilities include:

1. Assessing current practices in companies leading to product life cycle analysis (LCA) and compliance analysis, from the extraction of resources, to production, use, recycling and disposal, with the aim of managing and enhancing the environmental performance of the product.
2. Conduct all phases of LCA exercise: define goal and scope, inventory of life cycle, assessment of impact and create action plan
3. Correlate the practices to the regulations and reporting mechanisms applicable to the company
4. Provide consultation services using product LCA software designed to collect, store, audit and report on the potential environmental impacts
5. Guide and advice on environmental regulations at product level
6. Suggest systems and approaches to implement the above practices
7. Experienced in leading projects and teams to program / project manage to implement and set up the above systems until Go Live
8. Give impactful Demos to Client and assist with pre-sale activities
9. Must be an enthusiastic self starter and highly motivated individual
10. Assist in Proposal preparations and responses to RFP's
11. Lead efforts to sell Infosys solutions in this space

Qualifications:

Skills:

1. Management and or Environmental Consulting
2. Sustainability Consulting/ Program Management for a firm
3. Strong understanding and advisory experience in environment regulation - EU REACH, EU RoHS, IMDS, WEEE, Extended Producers Responsibility, CA VOC etc.
4. Knowledge of ISO standards relevant to assessment of environmental impacts according to the International Standard Office (ISO) 14040 standards at a product level
5. Working experience using hazardous pollutant inventory i.e. US EPA, and UK DEFRA
6. Specialization in any area of Carbon / Waste/ Water/Recycling/Energy Management from product stewardship standpoint
7. Exposure to product LCA related IT solutions and products i.e. SAP, PE International, SimaPro and PTC Winchill
8. Working knowledge of environmental product compliance, supply chain optimization, sustainable product design and sustainable product communications
9. Experience in the specialized areas above in a product or consulting company is a plus.

The candidate should have:

• 1 full end-to-end green product development implementation fulfilling regulatory requirements like WEEE, RoHS, REACH etc.
• Should have excellent knowledge about various geographic compliance regulations and have demonstrated skills in the area
• Should have good understanding of BOM management approaches (150% BOM, Flat BOM, BOM Redlining etc.) in industries like hi-tech, discrete, CPG, automotive, aerospace etc.
• Must possess PLM package business/functional skills preferably in Agile PLM. Any other PLM package implementation experience is also good.

• Education: Bachelors degree
• Experience Required: Senior Level (More than 5 Years Relevant Experience)
