If you like the outdoors and love to work with people and plants, this internship will give you the experience you need for a career in the green industry.
R&S Landscaping's Landscape Management internship program will prepare you for a career in the green industry! Program dates begin March and ends in June.
Position Overview:
This internship is an active, hands-on experience in the maintenance division of a working residential landscape firm. Students will gain invaluable knowledge and garner a broad range of practical experience. They will learn practical application of organic control products, IPM, and natural and sustainable landscaping maintenance practices.
General duties include assisting our experienced team to perform hands-on turf and plant care as well as sell and install quality residential landscape services and enhancements. Interns also have the opportunity to take on solo assignments (based on project and intern skill level). We expect each intern to bring professionalism and personal skills to the job. We will help you to hone your communication and sales skills, and what better way than with a company that does quality work and provides topnotch customer service.
Past interns have designed and sold landscape renovation projects, worked with pruning crews to teach proper techniques, taught classes on plant materials to other employees, installed new perennial beds and even continued on as R&S employees.
