Position Overview:
Western Pennsylvania Conservancy is seeking an individual to assist with land protection projects. This position is based in Ridgway, PA and reports to the Vice President of Land Conservation. Job duties include conducting landowner outreach, managing land acquisition projects, maintaining contacts with the public interested in land protection options and representing the Conservancy in the region.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of the tools used for land protection such as conservation easements, fee simple acquisitions and deed restrictions is required. Some experience with real estate transactions and documentation is preferred.
Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and well-developed verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor's degree in natural resource management or related fields of study or equuivalent experience is required.
