thread collective is a small award-winning firm in Brooklyn, with a informal, creative studio culture. A broadly defined notion of sustainability, existing site characteristics, and the sensory experience of the user inform our design process.
Much of our work, but not all, is in New York City, ranging from interior residential + commercial renovations to large scale new construction within an urban design framework.
thread collective is looking for a creative person with strong design + presentation skills, construction drawing experience [autocad], 3D modeling fluency, a sense of humor, and an interest in sustainability.
You should be excited to take on all roles of the design process as we are a small non-corporate firm, and be able to start immediately. You are a self-motivated, talented recent graduate with a Master or Bachelor Degree in Architecture, with work experience.
