Position Overview  

Our global Investment Banking client is seeking an experienced Associate to join their transactional advisory team covering the Alternative Energy industry. 

Responsibilities 

• Work directly with clients complex M&A, private placements, restructuring and related transactional advisory engagements
• Analyze, explain and prepare historical and projected financial information
• Perform and coordinate business due diligence in the execution of M&A transactions
• Prepare management presentations, marketing pitches, confidential information memoranda, etc.
• Perform complex industry and valuation analysis
• Assist with engagement marketing and planning efforts
• Proactively work to build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, potential investors / buyers and professional advisors 

Qualifications 

Desired Skills and Experience 

• Bachelor's degree
• MBA preferred
• 3+ years Investment Banking experience
• Keen interest in the renewable / alternative energy, clean technology and infrastructure finance industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory
• Motivated, outgoing with strong creative and financial analytical skills
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• High proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel as required
