Position Overview:

Suniva is seeking an Inventory Specialist at our Norcross, GA corporate headquarters. The Inventory Specialist will assist with inventory and bill of material maintenance. This individual will report to the Inventory Manager and must possess a positive attitude and the desire to consistently hit deliverable deadlines and meet/exceed performance expectations. 

Responsibilites:

  • Perform regular physical inventory counts to verify accuracy of GL and to reconcile any variances
  • Perform daily inventory transactions in Oracle
  • Reconcile inventory on weekly and monthly basis
  • Assist in maintaining Bill of Materials, to include variance analysis of cost and usage, and to make recommendations of necessary updates to Bill of Material
  • Assist in creating Bill of Material for new products
  • Assist Plant Manager and others with various analysis of plant production
  • Prepare weekly manufacturing reports and other various ad hoc reporting on an as needed basis
  • Interact with various individuals outside of accounting dept on daily basis
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization within the functional area, including update of accounting processes and procedures making best use of automation tools 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel level
  • Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organized with a desire for continuous improvement and meeting deadlines
  • Confident self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work with minimal direction in a fast paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3.2+ GPA
