Position Overview:

We are looking for an energetic and organized candidate to assist with inventory management as well as purchasing duties. This employee will be expected to handle tasks across several fields of expertise including shipping/receiving, tracking orders, liaise with vendors and distributors, manage inventory, etc. This position requires a self-motivated person with a diverse range of skills and the potential to grow into a more high-level role.

Responsibilities:

Inventory and stock management: receive procured items into inventory/inspection, monitor stock levels and replenish as needed, prepare and track RMA shipments. Previous manufacturing experience helpful.

Purchasing: help source and procure custom components and off the shelf parts, track and manage all aspects of purchasing process from quotation to final receipt, maintain all documentation and update database records.

Shipping/Receiving: assist with shipping/receiving of procured items; act as liaison for special deliveries, including hiring rigging crew and coordinating delivery details.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized
  • Computer skills including Windows, MS Office.
  • Ability to self-manage and stay on top of a myriad of (potentially conflicting) tasks
  • Ability to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work with a wide range of personality types
  • Positive "can do" attitude

In addition, recent experience with ERP/MRP software strongly desired. We are currently in the process of integrating the Consona Intuitive ERP system to streamline manufacturing as we grow. Requirements to "go live" with our new system include configuring the ERP master controls, training and practicing various modules as they pertain to job requirements, importing data from multiple departments, organizing training sessions for employees, etc. This will be a large-scale effort and the system needs to be up and running relatively quickly.
