Internship

The Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania is a mid-sized university arboretum located in the northwest corner of Philadelphia.

The Arboretum offers 8 year-long internships in the following areas: botany, education, urban forestry, plant propagation, arboriculture, horticulture (2), and plant pests and diseases.

A special curriculum is provided each week for interns consisting of practical sessions and sessions focused on managing a public garden.

Interns receive university credit at the University of Pennsylvania for the internship.
Interns receive $9 per hour plus health, dental, vacation, and tuition benefits.

The program starts on June 18, 2007.
