Internal Community Cultivation Intern

Position Overview:

The Intern will assist staff with a number of projects including:

• Work with SLM staff to create long-term community goals and begin implementation
• Work with SLM staff to develop a look and feel for the SLM online community, including designing the user experience
• Help coordinate the SLM community communications schedule
• Work with SLM's various partners to engage all parties in community participation
• Work 16 hours per week, of which at least 8 from our office in San Francisco

Qualifications: 

Who You Are: 

• Knowledgeable about a wide variety of social media tools and web-based community and event platforms
• Excited to help SLM build upon their existing community engagement strategy
• A people-person with effective communication methods, both oral and written
• A cheerleader for the values and ideas that shape the SLM community
