Intern Summary

The intern position will support the Bluefield insight services and applied research activities by collecting and analyzing data trends and drafting reports and presentations. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking to build their knowledge and experience in emerging market water and business strategies in a team-focused environment.

The position(s) will be located in our Boston and Barcelona offices. We do not transfer candidates and have a strong preference for those already located in the respective cities.  

Responsibilities 

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Building and maintaining multiple water sector databases to support market analysis; 
  • Initiating and shaping executive briefings and strategy papers; Contributing to in-depth market studies; and
  • Collaborate to serve industry-leading clients on a continuous basis, providing market intelligence focused on competitive analysis and strategy support. 

Qualifications 

  • Required Education – Undergraduate or Graduate degree in business, journalism, economics, policy, science. Some consideration, based on qualifications will be given to candidates in their final year.
  • Experience: Preferred 1-2 years experience in written research and strategy analysis in the water, energy, or other infrastructure sector.

Other skills:

  • Fluency in English and a preference for at least one other language.
