New Living, Houston's Green Building and Home Store is seeking an intern committed to the green movement. Position Overview:
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about learning and takes initiative to solve problems.
Responsibilities:
Intern responsibilities will include: learning about green building and home products, attending team meetings and product training sessions, helping customers on the floor, and developing and maintaining interesting displays for the showroom floor.
Qualifications:
Experience or education in green building or design is preferred but not required; interest in community initiatives is. Students are encouraged to apply.
Compensation: Financial compensation is a possibility and will be expected to work 30-40 hours a week to maximize the experience and become a full member of the team. The more you put in the more you will get out and you are sure to have a lot of fun and get invaluable experience that could lead to a full time job at New Living.
