Intern

Carbonfund.org is a fast-growing non-profit organization leading the fight against climate change by providing innovative solutions any individual or business can take to transform our economy to a clean energy future. Carbonfund.org has thousands of individual supporters and over 200 businesses leading the way on climate change, including Dell, Lancome, Orbitz and Yakima. 

Carbonfund.org is in need of a highly motivated individual to assist our educational, carbon reduction and offset programs. The internship offers individuals the chance to become involved in all aspects of Carbonfund.org's daily activities - from consumer outreach, to website content management, to fulfillment systems. The position also offers individuals the opportunity to become involved in Carbonfund.org's special projects. The position also involves some administrative tasks, as well as other tasks as assigned. 

The position will require a team approach to solving problems and accomplishing tasks and provide an exciting opportunity for individuals to gain valuable experience in the emerging climate change sector. The position is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with involvement in all aspects of a non-profit organization. 

A minimum of 20 hours weekly commitment for 6 months is required. Start date: Immediately. This is a paid internship. College credit if your institution permits 

Requirements: 

* Bachelor's degree a plus 
* Must be a team player to react to the needs of an ever-changing organization 
* Excellent writing skills
* Excellent organizational skills
* MS Office required, Web-based software, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Basic html and Java knowledge a plus 
* Knowledge of climate change 
* A passion for the environment and solving our climate change crisis
