The merge expanded the global expertise and services of SolarMarkt and Wurth Solar to include PV wholesales, project development, and manufacturing of Creotecc mounting systems.

Position Overview:

Session Solar is seeking a technical sales representative to develop accounts; generate revenue; and understand, interpret and provide technical information. Solar sales experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new accounts by researching and identifying potential clients
  • Solicit new accounts by researching buying history, suggesting related and new items, explaining technical features and benefits.
  • Respond to inquiries, verify and enter information; tracks orders to fulfillment; communicate expected delivery dates.
  • Provide technical information and explanations; prepare quotations.
  • Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintain and improve quality results by following standards; recommend improved policies and procedures.
  • Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participate in educational opportunities.
  • Achieve department and organizational goals by accepting ownership for new and projects and requests; explore opportunities to add value to job responsibilities.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of Inside Technical Sales or equivalent.

  • Solar Industry preferred
  • Engineering calculations for wind, snow and seismic code requirements
  • MS Office: Excel (VBA), Word, Outlook, Access
  • SAP Business One software

Location/Travel: This is a full time, in-house position, based in our Scotts Valley office. Some travel will be required, approximately 30-40%, reducing to 20% after the first year.

Compensation: 3 month probationary period with benefits available after 90 days. Compensation based on experiences and qualifications. Full benefits package includes medical, dental and vacation.
