Gehrlicher Solar America Corp. is the United States subsidiary of the internationally operating photovoltaic system integrator Gehrlicher Solar AG. The U.S.-based office was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Springfield, N.J.

Gehrlicher USA specializes in the full-lifecycle of commercial solar projects including design, construction and financing. To date, it has over 10 MW of commercial projects in development across the U.S. and has recently launched the U.S. distribution business that will offer solar modules, inverters, and own components from the GehrTec® product portfolio.

Position Overview:

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking proactive and driven sales professionals to join our team.

The Component and System Inside Sales Professional will make proactive sales calls to potential and existing customers while also supporting the outside sales reps. This individual will represent Gehrlicher's entire product line to the customer or prospect with the goal of developing leads to closing sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively make outbound calls to assigned accounts
  • Maintain a product support focused relationship with customers
  • Identify customer needs and solve customer problems and requests
  • Work with QuickBooks to generate estimate, etc.
  • Support outside sales force
  • Generate leads of new customers
  • Close any product sales if possible
  • Develop and enhance account relationships
  • Complete RFP Packages for bid opportunities
  • Interface with vendors on customer issues and technical questions

Qualifications:

  • College degree in business or related field preferred
  • Solar Sales Experience preferred (1-3 years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of web based programs
  • Intermediate MS Office skills and QuickBooks
  • Excellent listening and discerning skills
  • Business acumen and ability to "solutions sell"
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Track record of good judgment
  • Customer service

Compensation: Full time position. Highly competitive base salary, performance bonus & benefits
