Description:

Under the direction of the manager of the environmental group, you will be part of an international team of analysts supporting market research services, consulting projects, and online subscription products covering U.S. and world environmental markets. As part of the analyst team, you will collect & analyze data on market conditions & business opportunities, author market studies, and develop relationships and conduct interviews with major market players. Will also act as the lead analyst on custom consulting projects within the environmental industry. You will become known as one of the world?s foremost experts on the environmental market. Ulimately, the candidate is expected to reach a position of Product Manager, responsible for products and services in his/her area of focus.

Responsibilities:

- Research and monitor selected markets in the environmental industry, with the goal of becoming one of the world?s foremost experts on the enviornmental market.

- Participate in strategic planning, in-depth market analysis, and forecasting for consulting clients, subscription services, and syndicated research studies.

- Provide insightful articles on the industry for Frost & Sullivan on-line, Web newsletters, magazines, newspapers, and others. Provide quotes to reporters for major publications such as Time, NewsWeek, US News & World Reports, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, etc.

- Plan and execute delivery of subscription based summary of your findings.

- Develop relationships and conduct interviews with major manufacturers for gathering primary research results.

- Speak at industry trade shows and conferences.

- Establish your personal reputation in the industry, and enhance that of Frost & Sullivan

Requirements:

- 2 + years experience in market research, consulting, marketing, or sales.

- 2 + years experience in the environmental field.

- Bachelor in Business Administration, International Business, Economics, or environmental sciences.

- Must be able to synthesize business implications with a grasp of market economics/dynamics to deliver market forecasts and analyses.

- Exellent writing skills are necessary.

- Strong organizational and analytical skills are critical.

- Commitment to quality and an intellectual curiosity a must.

- Candidates must be able to work within a team environment as well as autonomously.
