Industry Analyst, Cleantech

Mesa Research, a new market research and advisory firm focused on global clean technology markets, is seeking industry analysts to author reports on a contractual project basis.  The research process includes a series of executive interviews with industry participants, synthesis of secondary research information, and creation of quantitative models and forecasts for the sector being covered.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Renewable energy (solar, wind, geothermal, ocean, etc.)
• Alternate powertrain/fuel vehicles (hybrid, electric, ethanol, CNG, hydrogen)
• Energy storage (advanced battery technologies, fuel cells)
• Green construction (residential, commercial, green building materials)
• Green consumer products (lighting, green consumer electronics, energy efficient appliances, e-waste issues, etc.)
• Environmental management (water purification, air quality and emissions control, waste management, recycling, etc.)
• Green manufacturing and packaging
• Biofuels
• Cleantech legal and regulatory issues

Requirements:  

• Exceptional writing skills
• Solid quantitative analysis, ability to create forecasts using assumptions gleaned from primary research
• Strong secondary research / information discovery and aggregation skills
• Good interviewing skills
• Technology market research / industry analysis experience is strongly preferred

Geographic location is flexible.
