Position Overview:
CTG needs an HR generalist who has extensive experience and track record in talent management and recruiting. This full-time Human Resources Manager in our Irvine, CA office will find, retain, reward and develop great --rather than simply good-- team members. This will require exceptional interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude, and strong organizational skills. The focus of this position is to manage staffing, benefits, employee relations, compensation, training programs and talent development.
The Human Resources Manager will be the primary human resources professional for 60+ team members spread across five offices - Irvine, Las Vegas, Colorado Springs, Providence, and Washington DC. The Human Resources Manager will report to the Vice President of Internal Services and will also serve as a member of the management team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage recruiting and staff growth plan.
- Incorporate CTG strategic goals into an HR plan for the company.
- Foster a "talent management mindset" throughout the company.
- Analyze the workforce and target possible vulnerabilities.
- Share accountability with management and team members.
- Measure and manage retention / turnover in critical positions.
- Develop and implement employee retention programs.
- Create and manage competitive compensation program.
- Coordinate training and career development opportunities for staff.
- Guide the creation of, and manage, a CTG leadership development program.
- Develop and continuously improve performance management processes.
Qualifications:
- Commitment to Sustainability.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse, multi-cultural organization.
- Minimum 5 years' direct experience and successful track record in Talent Management and Recruiting.
- Experienced in recruiting professionals for fit with organizational culture.
- Experienced in building recruiting relationships with academic and professional groups and societies.
- Good interviewing/behavioral assessment techniques.
- Current on legal issues.
- Experienced in helping staff work through conflicts.
- Experience in helping to guide change management.
- Ability to serve multiple offices in multiple states.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly to other office locations.
- Self-starter and team player.
- Ability to positively influence with integrity.
- High degree of flexibility.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree Preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience in architecture, engineering, construction or consulting firms is a plus.
