Position Overview
This position will manage the day-to-day operations of the HR office for GEC, including benefits, compensation, recruiting, and employee retention.
Responsibilities include:
* Manage the recruitment process for exempt and non-exempt employees and interns and serve as the single point of contact and hands-on recruiting resource for GEC managers and owners.
* Assist with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of GEC.
* Assist with the monitoring of the company wage and salary structure within the company, including bonuses and raises.
* Provide competitive market research and prepare pay studies to help establish pay practices that help to recruit and retain superior staff.
* Oversee/conduct new hire orientation, process new hire paperwork, and partner with Accounting to maintain HR database.
* Provide day-to-day benefits administration services to employees.
* Provide support as a HR generalist, assist with employee relations, and interpret GEC policies as needed.
Required Experience
* 5 years experience of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.
* Specialized training in compensation, benefits, and employment law preferred.
* Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred but not required.
* 5 years experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
* Bachelor's degree in related field.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, applicant tracking systems, and the internet as a recruitment resource
