Home Performance Internship / Apprenticeship

Home Energy Partners, Inc. is a certified Home Energy Rating System (HERS) provider and home performance contractor. We provide comprehensive high-performance building consultation and services to homebuyers, builders / contractors, organizations, realtors, and lenders. We also use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and building science techniques to assess and repair health, comfort, and energy concerns within both new and existing buildings. We are working to help facilitate a transition within the building industry toward energy-efficient, healthy, comfortable and affordable homes.
Home Energy Partners is seeking college students or other interested applicants for the Home Performance Internship / Apprenticeship. Interns will be involved in a variety of tasks that may include: a) assisting Home Performance Specialists in their work, and/or b) participation with project work crews. These tasks may be labor-intensive and can include assisting in home performance inspections, running diagnostic tests, computing house plan evaluations, and/or project work for energy efficiency retrofit projects.
Competent interns may have the opportunity for advancement within the company at the conclusion of the internship (dependant on current staffing needs). Home Energy Partners will provide all the necessary training to complete the internship; however, some minor tools and equipment may be required for retrofit project work.
