GreenShape LLC is a nationally-recognized green building sustainability consulting firm based in Washington, DC. We guide building owners, design teams and individuals in the creation of buildings, programs and education for sustainable living. Responsibilities 

As a Green Building Coordinator, you will work on multiple green building projects helping to guide architectural project teams in applying green building concepts and technologies to their projects and support green building owners in developing programs and policies for sustainable operations. You will manage day-to-day client communications, conduct Internet-based research, write concise reports and coordinate the documentation of project green building accomplishments.

Responsibilities will also include creating PowerPoint presentations, assisting with training sessions and conducting product research and analysis. You will support green building owners in developing programs and policies for sustainable operations. 

Requirements 

GreenShape LLC is seeking a construction management, architectural or engineering or environmental professional with inter-disciplinary skills and at least 2 years of related professional experience and a college degree. We are looking for a team-oriented person who works well with minimal supervision in a small office environment. Strong professional skills and the ability to maintain a positive, flexible attitude are essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing large amounts of data, have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to work comfortably with current computer technology, especially MS Excel. Familiarity with MS Powerpoint, MS Project, and basic web design would be beneficial. For those currently seeking architectural licensure, please note that GreenShape does not perform design services. Compensation is commensurate with experience. 

Years of Professional Experience Required: Entry to Mid-Level 

Background: College Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or Facilities Management and some building industry experience required. LEED Accreditation preferred. Must demonstrate previous focus on and commitment to sustainable design and a basic understanding of the LEED green building rating sytem.
