We also provide specialized green building technical services, including LEED program development consulting and professional education. Our firm actively serves as project managers and technical consultants to the U.S. Green Building Council on various aspects of LEED's development and implementation, and we authored the first edition of the LEED-NC Reference Guide.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic intern for general project support working under the supervision of project managers. The candidate will be exposed to cutting edge green building technologies, the economics of today's sustainable building market and an integrated design process. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform green building and materials research  
  • Create and layout graphics for presentations, publications, and reports  
  • Support the LEED application and review process.  
  • Maintain slide and materials libraries  
  • Support project consulting teams  
  • Provide general project administrative support

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • A general background in architecture, urban planning, real estate, landscape architecture, civil engineering or allied field.  
  • Junior/Senior level Undergraduate or Graduate candidates strongly preferred. Students who are Work-Study eligible in the State of Washington are encouraged to apply.  
  • Strong personal interest in green building and sustainable design  
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), attention to detail, positive attitude and a desire to work within a team environment are a must.  
  • Computer proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, PageMaker, and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access  
  • Graphics, rendering, and layout skills a plus

Compensation: $12-$16/hr, 15-40 hours/week. This position is not eligible for benefits.
