Green Building Consultant

We work on a diverse range of projects for government, non-profit, and private sector clients, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams of owners, developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and policy makers.

We are currently hiring for the following position:

GREEN BUILDING CONSULTANT

Duties:

We are seeking a design professional who can apply their interdisciplinary design expertise to a variety of green building projects. This team player is extremely well organized, possessing the ability to coordinate multiple capital projects including offices, schools, courts, and mixed-use facilities.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Landscape architecture, site design, building and landscape integration, landscape materials (experience with master planning and GIS software a plus)
• Indoor environmental quality; space planning, daylighting, air quality, ventilation effectiveness
• Structural engineering, materials characteristics
• Sustainable materials, recycled non-toxic content, alternative manufacturing processes

Required Skills and Experience

• 5-7 years registered professional experience
• 2+ years project management experience in coordinating project teams, providing client service, and producing conceptual and analytical project documentation
• Strong writing skills and ability to prepare and deliver oral presentations to individual clients and training seminars
• Demonstrated career progression and interest in green building
• A sense of humor and a knack for showing initiative and innovation on the job
