Description

The Southeast Alaska Conservation Council (SEACC), one of America's premiere grassroots organizations, seeks a full-time organizer to join our dedicated team of forest activists.

Duties:

The organizer is primarily responsible for working with community leaders to protect key wildlands on the Tongass National Forest, the world's largest temperate rainforest.

Qualifications:

The right person is highly motivated, can build relations with a diverse group of people, enjoys work travel, and has excellent communication and writing skills.

Based in Juneau.

Salary starts at $30,000 plus benefits depending on experience.
