ALL Power Labs is the new global leader in small-scale gasification. We make biomass gasifiers that are ready for everyday work, to serve real world distributed energy needs.

Our project started in 2008 with the open source Gasifier Experimenter's Kit (the GEK), supporting research, education and DIY hacking in biomass thermal conversion. Five years later the GEK has evolved into the Power Pallet- a fully automated solution for personal scale biomass power generation.

Today you can find over 400 of our systems in over 40 countries, and supporting research in over 50 universities. 

Summary

The Global Sales Specialist role serves as a domestic and international representative of our company and its products. This is an unusual opportunity for which we are seeking an exceptional candidate, who can integrate best practice business solutions with our rapid cycle innovation culture. This position reports to the Directopr of Business Development.   

Duties and Tasks

  • Prospecting and following up on leads, and closing deals to help us grow the business on a global scale.
  • Support customer service activities in the ongoing efforts to add value and build relationships with existing customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to deal with potential customers, existing customers, co-workers and other internal departments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication ability.
  • Develop strategies and implement plans to yield profitable sales.  
  • Comptently discuss a broad range of technology, as well as enjoy the broad range of people that are interested in it.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales position preferred.
  • Ability to identify, plan and prioritize business opportunities.
  • Ability to perform basic calculations, analyze data, and present results in a format that can drive business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytical and personal computing. skills, specifically using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
  • Ability to occasionally travel internationally and domestically as required (15-20% travel).
  • Foreign language skills a plus.

Qualifications

  • Must be results orientated; assertive and self-motivated, and possess strong organizational skills to be able to achieve goals consistently.
  • Must possess professional selling and presentation skills to be able to communicate with our diverse customer base.
  • Must possess the technical aptitude to be able to comprehend and explain complex product line.
  • Must have analytical skills and intellectual ability to develop ideas, apply creative thinking, prepare a sales plan and report quantitative data.
  • Must have experience meeting or exceeding a monthly sales goal.

Compensation: Salary plus bonus.
