Description
Global Green USA is a national environmental organization addressing three of the greatest challenges facing humanity:
- Stemming global climate change by creating green buildings and cities.
- Eliminating weapons of mass destruction that threaten lives and the environment.
- Providing clean, safe drinking water for the 2.4 billion people who lack access to clean water.
Global Green USA is offering internships for the undergraduate and graduate students interested in gaining practical experience in the environmental field. Interns participate in a variety of activities that support both organizational and individual development. Interns will assist with campus and community outreach and/or assist initiatives with specific GGUSA departments.
Individuals applying must be students or professionals interested in sustainability, specifically that achieved through green building, environmental policy, urban planning, and related areas.
Specific departmental internship openings:
- Policy & Legislative Affairs: Green building advocacy, Climate change policy, and CO2 reduction policy, etc.
- Communications: Green building publicity, Research, Event production, and Press database coordination.
- Campus Outreach: Organizing and campaigning on college campuses.
- Green Building Resource Center: Research green products and green building practices.
