Responsibilities:
The incumbent will lead the formation and growth of our Residential Energy Company to expand the Company's building science and green product/service offerings, leverage the Company's research and development capabilities, and deliver innovative, technologically advanced, energy efficient and green solutions to homeowners.
Working closely with the top Marketing, Research and Development, Finance and IT executives of the Company, the incumbent will recruit, train, develop and motivate a leadership team of enthusiastic employees to plan the strategic direction and lead the development of this new company.
Qualifications:
Requirements include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrated leadership in business formation and start-up experience with significant profit and loss responsibility
- 10+ years general management experience in the home products installation industry preferably in energy related products and services to homeowners
- Building science and green business expertise
- Expertise working with a broad range of constituents, i.e., government agencies, utilities, contractors, homeowners
- Keen understanding of this market and its competitive landscape
- Bachelors Degree required (energy related sciences preferred)
- Advanced degree preferred
