Want to help today's youth reconnect with where their food comes from? Corvallis Environmental Center seeks a Garden and Nutrition Coordinator.
This AmeriCorps position will have two primary roles - to support a "Healthy Food and Fitness" program that formalizes and expands upon existing garden resources and activities at Lincoln School to reach all students at the school as well as the South Corvallis community; and to continue Youth Garden Project in-service and summer programs. Coordinator will maintain existing volunteer contacts and recruit new volunteers to work with garden programs.
Benefits include $1009/month stipend (before taxes), $4725 scholarship, health insurance, training opportunities, loan forbearance & childcare allowance.
