Position Overview:

OneEnergy Renewables™, a developer of utility-scale clean energy projects and active participant in environmental markets, seeks a Fulfillment Specialist to support its sales and trading of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and carbon offsets. This is an opportunity for a diligent and motivated individual to manage a variety of systems and processes utilized by the Company for contracting, delivery and certification for RECs and offsets.

The role is part-time (10-20 hours per week) with a flexible schedule and will involve order fulfillment, customer follow up, related correspondence and other documentation to comply with internal policy as well as Green-e Energy certification requirements.  The Fulfillment Specialist will join a talented team dedicated to expanding the use and availability of clean energy while achieving ambitious financial goals and building Company value.

This position may be based in Portland (preferred) or Seattle.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter, manage and reconcile transaction data and contracts in customer relations (CRM), accounting, inventory and trading systems 
  • Manage paper and electronic filing of key customer and supplier documentation 
  • Prepare certificates, EPA Greenpower Partnership applications and other documents or correspondence
  • Assist with generation of periodic reports and analysis
  • Maintain strict control of business process and ensure compliance with relevant requirements, including preparation for annual audits
  • Actively seek methods to enhance internal operations, facilitate communication and add value within the scope of responsibilities and related functions
  • Provide consistent, high quality service in support of customer, vendor and partner relationships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related discipline preferred); advanced degree is beneficial but not required
  • Relevant professional or academic experience (accounting/audit experience preferred)
  • Meticulous attention to detail; exceptional organization and ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word; experience with Salesforce and QuickBooks preferred
  • Renewable and carbon industry experience a plus but not required
