Position Overview:

CaliSolar is s currently looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. This position is responsible for financial analysis of the Company with the objective being to monitor and report changes to management and to improve financial performance. Many of these analyses are ad hoc, but also are planned around the budget/forecasting cycle and Board meetings.
Key achievements in this position are providing accurate financial modeling output and analysis and meeting critical deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a data analysis model to project Company results and model investment candidates that are aligned with Company's strategic and financial goals
- Perform commercial, technical, financial analyses of operations and investments candidates
- Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports and presentations regarding the impact of an acquisition on the Company
- Assist in developing a target approach and bid strategies for acquisition candidates
- Conduct due diligence of selected target companies
- Develop model necessary for various government funding and tax incentives and assist in preparation of required documents
- Assist development of integration strategy for closed transactions
- Serve as key resources for understanding and making decisions regarding growth opportunities available for the Company, including development and presentation or periodic reporting to executive management team
Qualifications:
- 4 year Business Degree in Accounting
- MBA
- 3-5 years experience in M&A manufacturing environment (process or discreet) and/or investment banking
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions with preference for chemical and energy-sector experience
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Writing skills for retrieving, analyzing and presenting financial data
- Communication skills are requirements for explaining and presenting information
