goracon windpower access systems is a medium-sized company based in Steinfurt, Münsterland. Our many years of experience in access platform technology guarantee the high quality and durability of our products.

We develop, design, build and install customised access platforms and maintenance units for buildings and wind turbines.               

Position Overview:

The field service technician is general described as a mobile repair and assessment technician who travels to a job site to install, maintain and troubleshoot the equipment manufactured by goracon.

Responsibilities:

  • Onsite installation, inspection of 3rd party work, maintenance and repair of goracon products
  • Write service reports using MS Office and company specific Software.
  • Communicate and coordinate jobs with customers

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Onsite customer training and introduction into basic operation of the equipment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum High school diploma
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in wind industry would be a plus.
  • High access certified climber: If not willing to learn and get certificate.
  • Basic computer skills required: MS Office, Google, Skype, ...
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken. Other languages: Spanish, French, German would be a plus
  • Independent, Patience, Flexible, confident.
  • Able to diagnose and solve problems from a "non-technical" description provided by the customer
  • Valid driver's license, class C min, living within commuting distance of Lawrenceville, GA would be preferred
