Position Overview  

This is an exciting time for Endurance Wind Power as we grow our company. If you are passionate about the alternate energy market and are looking to make a difference in the fast-paced work environment, this could be a role and place for you. 

Responsibilities  

What can you expect in the Field Service Technician position? 

• The working environment entails working at elevated heights to maintain the wind turbine
• Provide installation supervision and training of small to medium sized wind turbines
• Provide field service support for small to medium sized wind turbines
• Support pre-installation planning teleconference calls
• Provide remote support (phone or email) to dealers and end-customers in co-ordination with our technical services engineers in the UK, and at our headquarters in Surrey, BC, Canada.
• Provide crucial "lessons learned" feedback to product development engineers to support our dedication to continuously improve our products
• Participate in the development of new, improved field procedures and best practices
• Frequent travel and extended stay at customer job sites for the duration of projects is required
• Domestic and international travel up to 80% of time to support our ever growing install base 

Qualifications  

What kind of background is required to thrive in this position? 

• Able to think clearly and maintain composure while working at heights and in tight enclosures, is critical
• Able and willing to travel very frequently
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle (mileage is covered)
