Position Overview:
The Field Service Technician is part of a team dedicated to service, safety and quality.
Individual will work primarily in the New York/Mid-Atlantic region to work with project managers, job foremen and sub-contractors to ensure that solar project installations meet high quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Performs random quality audits in the field and responds to related inquiries.
- Provides troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Train field staff on related procedures.
- Provide reports on service-related issues and audit results and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Travel and some off-hours work is required.
- Must have strong PV knowledge, including knowledge of inverters and data acquisition systems, good understanding of Microsoft Office applications, and strong communications skills.
