EnerNOC unlocks the full value of energy management for our utility and commercial, institutional, and industrial (C&I) customers by reducing real-time demand for electricity, increasing energy efficiency, improving energy supply transparency in competitive markets, and mitigating emissions. We accomplish this by delivering world-class energy management applications including DemandSMARTTM, comprehensive demand response; EfficiencySMARTTM, data-driven energy efficiency; SupplySMARTTM, energy price and risk management; and CarbonSMARTTM, enterprise carbon management.
Our Energy Network Operations Center (EnerNOC) supports these applications across thousands of C&I customer sites throughout the world. Using our C&I customers' energy usage flexibility, we make capacity, energy, ancillary services, and carbon products available to grid operators and our more than 100 utility customers on demand as a cost-effective alternative to traditional power generation, transmission, and distribution.
Position Overview:
EnerNOC, a leading provider of demand response energy efficiency solutions, has an immediate need for a Field Marketing Manager. Field Marketing Managers drive market penetration and sales volume in their assigned geographies through creative marketing tactics and the execution of ongoing projects according to the marketing and sales plan.
Responsibilities:
Specifically, the Field Marketing Manager will:
- Develop, execute and manage regional strategic marketing initiatives to drive lead generation and brand awareness
- Develop regional customer and prospect knowledge through research and analyses of customer, competitor, and industry market developments
- Design, develop and execute campaigns using various marketing mechanisms (webinars, emails, events, etc..) to achieve regional sales and marketing goals
- Build and manage relationships with regional industry and trade associations to support marketing opportunities
- Build strong relationships with regional sales team
- Manage the development and use of regional marketing collateral
- Act as knowledgeable and vocal EnerNOC champion for regional customer needs
- Identify and improve process weaknesses and create tools to internally support sales and marketing team productivity
- Track marketing progress against goals, identify issues, and recommend and execute on solutions for improvement
- Optimize effectiveness of current marketing activities
- Perform other duties as required
