About the Position:

PECI seeks three technical consultants (Field Energy Analyst) to work with business owners to promote energy efficiency retrofits. The Field Energy Analyst will manage a large contact base and have primary responsibility for improving energy efficiency at client sites.  Must be able to work independently, to prioritize multiple demands and proactively develop client relationships. 

The Field Energy Analysts will work from a home office and coordinate with remote team members. These positions will be based in the Pacific Northwest, Southern California and Northern California and requires travel throughout the surrounding counties. 

Key elements of the position include:

  • Auditing grocery/refrigeration facilities and preparing reports for owners 
  • Managing and expanding customer and vendor relationships 
  • Develop creative ways to achieve program objectives and scope relevant
    tasks 
  • Facilitating and tracking retrofit projects, including coordinating with numerous project players, and reporting to clients and project management 
  • Providing technical consultations for facility owners 
  • Pursuing relationships with contractors to accomplish retrofits 

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • High energy and persuasive nature 
  • Strong technical background in refrigeration and controls 
  • Consultative approach: proven ability to understand and meet customer needs 
  • Field experience conducting energy audits 
  • Business acumen: familiarity with core business metrics (ROI, margins, etc.) 
  • Strong verbal and written communication; ability to present to a variety of audiences. 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Windows-based software experience including word processing, spreadsheet, and Access applications
